after receiving this microwave first thing i noticed after using it was you can't see inside. do not like that at all. you can't tell if something is boiling over. then went to make a bag of popcorn hit the popcorn sensor button and it starting sensing and 10 seconds later get c10 error code and it shuts off. sending this right back as defective.

i will update the review once i get my service request done on how the microwave works but as for now i received it and plugged it in and it didn't work at all!! it was also dented and i'm disappointed on the quality! the door is so poorly made out of plastic, so thin it feels like it's going to break whenever opened and it is so loose even when closed.

i purchased this in december of 2019. as of july 2020, it has stopped heating any object placed into it. trying to get support and i just get stuck in a loop with no means of contact to samsung for replacement. i ordered directly from samsung.

worse customer service ever! i bought this product two times, and both times it arrived damaged(missing screws, dented, etc.). the 2 time also just works for less than a minute and then..die..

I bought this microwave and within 1 month the magnetron(main component of the microwave) had to be replaced along with another component. Now 60 days later the clock does not work and it doesn't heat properly. The service is a nightmare and inconsistent. They had to come out twice for the first repair- one person knew what they were doing the other had no clue. Save yourself the hassle and buy a different microwave!!!

I am a great supporter of Samsung, I have had many of their appliances, and I purchased this microwave based on the quality of the other Samsung appliances I own. I've sooking over 60 years and have been using microwave ovens since the early 70's. This is by far the worst I have ever owned. First of all, the light on the inside is so dim, you cannot see what's cooking, second and worst of all it beeps naggingly when defrosting and when the item has completed cooking. During a typical defrost cycle it beeps 6x every 30 seconds. I assume it means time to turn the food, so if a person is busy doing something else. they have to drop that, and run over to turn the food which may not even be necessary at that time. I find myself standing at the device wasting time because of this. At the end of cooking the item has to be removed immediately or it continually beeps every 15-20 seconds or so, until it's opened and the item is removed. Once again not necessary to continually beep, do people forget they are cooking? Additionally, the cooking itself is inconsistent with heat output, sometimes it's hot and sometimes not cooked and when defrosting, sometimes the item will cook on a small area, even with turning it.

I just purchased this microwave and it heats super fast but... It came with the wrong glass turntable. The turntable wont center properly on the coupler therefore the turntable wont spin at all. The roller ring seems to be good. Now the hassle to return it to Walmart.

For a 4 to 5 star rated product I expected a better build quality. To be honest, I just picked this up today so we'll see how this product performs over time. But First thing I noticed is that one the right side where the screw is, the body is a little bent almost like the screw was too tight or the metal too flimsy or both since the body does seem to be thin. The second issue I see is closing the door. The door isn't aligned properly so I have to push the door down from the top to get the door to close properly or else one of the latches doesn't latch.

This is a very capable model, As someone concerned with power consumption the Eco mode is very useful. The ceramic coating makes cleaning easy. I prefer more metal trim and less glass on the door design. I love the blue led display. Overall great product for the price. I would recommend it if you are in the market.

I bought the entire set of Samsung Black Stainless (refrigerator, range, dishwasher) and wanted this to finish off the new look on 11/19/16. Although the microwave works great, you cannot clean the front of the glass door without getting these horrid micro-scratches all over the glass. Actually, it cant be glass as I have NEVER seen glass do this. Even my microfiber cloths scratch it. My fingers scratch it. Everything scratches it. And it is the same imitation glass that is used on the top touch panel of the dishwasher, another item you cannot touch with leaving micro-scratches all over it.
It is too bad they did not use the same "glass" that they used on the range touch pad because that does not scratch like the microwave or the dishwasher.
What a shame because otherwise this would be a nice microwave.
Would I recommend it knowing it will look hideous as soon as you clean it? No. My suggestion is to keep it in a dark corner where no direct lighting or sunlight will ever shine on the "glass" door.
I'm attaching a picture but am not sure how large it will appear on this page, but I can assure you if you are able to enlarge it or see it clearly, the front 'glass' door looks horrible if you look above where the flash is.

After seeing this newer Samsung 1.4 cu. ft. model microwave, I decided to buy this product and to retire my older 22 year old Samsung microwave, even through, it is fully functional. I love the Ceramic Enamel interior and find it is very easy to keep clean. Cooking with this model is a breeze and my food is evenly cooked in very little time. I know I will have many years of reliable service in using this product. The Black color of this model microwave is just awesome and the blue LED display is easy to see and read. Touch Screen Controls makes it easy and quick to program for cooking.
