Bad customer service no product support

We have been dealing with a faulty part issue that started shortly after we purchased this washer. Customer service has not followed through with their promise to return calls as our case was escalated to management. Its been weeks and we have followed up a few times spending half an hour plus each call. Dont support a company that doesnt stand behind their product. There are other companies with very comparable machines out there.

I bought this washer dryer set for my new home and I so disappointed that I bought these The washer has a plastic drum inside the lid and its FLAKING off with every load I wash. We are a family of two adults and do not do laundry very ofter so its not overused its just a bad product. The dryer is nice but you have to run it more than two times to actually dry your clothes- ever more times if its a blanket and yes I put it on the bedding setting. The only thing worse than the flacking washer is the awful customer service--or lack of any service I have called texted emailed sent photos and video and still no response from their team.

I brought this in the hose I brought n it was only 3 yrs old the people had the house 3 years n they were there to use the washer 7 times went to use it and it didnt go on it cost me 400.00 to fix it but I needed it.the guy was there n fixed it in half hr so we had extra money we didnt expect to have to spend but its done n it works...thank God

I have had this washing machine for almost 5 years. I bought the extended warranty on it and I am glad I did. The pump that pumps the dirty water out is bad. Luckily it happened just before the warranty ran out so they are going to repair it at no cost. I like the washing machine it has a lot of good features but I wish that it had a soak cycle that you can leave it soaking as long as you want like overnight. You can only soak something for 30 minutes. The spin cycle on this machine spins so fast it sounds like a helicopter. Needless to say it does a really good job. This machine is so automated that it is frustrating. If you want to do something different than the washer wants to do youre out of luck. I like the fact that without the agitator it is a lot easier to wash bedding and quilts. If you buy this washer whatever you do dont watch it. It goes through some weird Gyrations before it actually starts to fill the tub with water and wash the clothes.

I am old school

I am old school. I had a hard time with a washer that uses a lot less water and doesnt agitate with a center post. I also have difficulty with the settings. I prefer the much easier dial setting regulator. There are times I want a particular action and I cant figure hom to do it. Yes I do look at the manual and even on line. The United States has a enormous +55 years of age population. I know I am not the only one feeling this way.

Unable to get clothes clean no matter what. I load it according to the diagram I use the correct amount of soap Ive tried different temps and cycles Ive made sure nothing is blocking the filter Ive used the cleaning cycle multiple times. Nothing works. I can still smell the deodorant stuck to my husbands undershirts and the collars of all his tech fabric shirts the lightweight silky kind remain stretched out and show grease stains. Its totally incapable of getting any type of grease out of any fabric. LG is no help when they say to contact them through Facebook. Im COME ON I shouldnt have to use social media for customer service

I am so happy with this washing machine. I love all the cycles with the times which is really helpful. Its quiet it has a dispenser for both fabric softener and liquid detergent. Also it does not bounce across the room while in the spin cycle especially with bulky items. There are numerous options so you can wash items the way you like to and not the way the manufacturer wants you to When my dryer finally gives out I plan on buying an LG dryer Thanks for a great product

Lack of Agitator and Lack of effective Soak Cycle

Have have this washer a couple of years. Im very disappointed that there is no agitator to get really dirty clothes clean. I like that theres more room inside but would rather be able to get all loads clean. I called LG support to see if I could buy an agitator as an accessory. The answer was no. So I am left using the Heavy 2 hour cycle and hope that clothes will come clean. My other complaint is that You cannot soak over night or even a few hours. The soak cycle is only for 30 minutes then it automatically goes into the wash cycle.

No lint trap/filter so clothes come out dirty

This washer does not have a lint trap/filter and as a result clothes come out covered in lint which has often turned in a goopy clumps and is near impossible to remove. Lint/dirt/loose particles also litter the drum after a wash so you have to wipe or vacuum it out before using again. Im very disappointed - it never occurred to me to check if this model had a lint trap/filter before purchasing because that seems like checking if the car comes with brakes. Needless to say I would not recommend this washer to anyone.

We purchased our washer in late 2020. It seemed to be fine but then we noticed pulls in our fine linens and my wifes delicates. I called LG and a rep came to visit to see if he could find the problem. The problem is a few of the metal pieces were sticking out and pulling the clothes. he ordered a new tub which came damaged and is sitting in our garage. He ordered another one and this one wasnt even wrapped correctly. The tub had two big dents in it to the point where thee UPS guy would not leave it. So we wait. We are supposed to get another tub b y Thursday which is the day the rep is supposed to come here. WE ARE NOT HAPPY

I bought this washer a month ago and it has been working great I dont have any electrical issues and turn it on easy and put the cycles I want. My favorite cicle is the White cycle that cleans all my white shirts clean. Love how it sanitizes all the clothing out in the correct cycle.

It has some good points. I really like the bleach dispenser because it doesnt make white spots on the laundry. I like that it weighs the load so not wasting water for small loads. But I was glad I opted for buying 3 more years of warranty. After 3 years one more year of warranty both of the computer boards died. The plumber TEC is waiting for the order to come. Been without washer 2 weeks so far..

We bought this washer and it worked great it was easy to use and straight forward it had some electrical board issues. We had called tech support to assist and came 2 times to fix it. I needed to get completely repair and no longer was able to use. Overall we had a defective washer.

You literally have to stand there to make sure enough water fills to clean your clothes and not ruin them. I now have only been using deep wash with deep fill opion. Sad thing is wont use hot water with setting. Find another washer. Seems temperamental and is only using cold water lately.

Return of the top loader

Weve had this for about a month after using a front loader for 20 yrs and have no complaints. I was cautious because so many shorter people talked about reach issues but I have no problem reaching the clothes at the bottom while on my toes Im 53. I especially like that theres no agitator rubbing my clothes. The amount of water has been perfect havent had to use the extra water feature and clothes are clean.

i was very excited to begin to use my new washer. First I was disappointed to discover that I had to go on line to read the instruction manual. When I tried to access the manual I hit a dead end. So I gave up on that. I have also found that the machine which does a pretty good job of cleaning clothes takes so long to do a load. Sometimes I feel that I could go down to the river and beat the clothing on rocks faster Secondly there are simple things I would like to do with the machine....like spin out a load of wet clothes that I have had soaking somewhere else. It takes so long to just spin out Maybe I am just too old for new fangled machines. I certainly would like something easier to use---and with accessible instructions

Super quiet and effecient

Love this washing machine 5/3/2023

I was skeptical about this washer as I always prefer center agitators. I have had washers before without the agitator and the clothes were a tangled mess and not enough water was used. This washer is amazing - clothes do not tangle they are washed and rinsed perfectly and the washer is very quiet. I definitely recommend giving it a try if you need a new washer.

Ive had to call for service twice in the last year and a half that weve owned it.I own an LG Smart TV and it works great.The LG dryer I have also works great so far.I take really good care of all of my appliances. I clean them and treat them with respect. Ive never had a washer with this many problems so early after purchase.

I keep trying different settings but the clothes are super wrinkly dont smell clean water level seems way too low clothes do not seem to be getting completely clean. Ive tried different settings load sizes detergent measuring etc.

Does not even get all the clothes wet

I have had this impeller LG wash machine for 1-1/2 years now. I hate it. It uses less water which is good but there are areas were the close are still dry when I take them out. Others have mentioned this too. I feel the impeller could work faster longer. I got the impeller because I thought the impeller would be more gentle than the agitator but it barely moves. I have to stop it and have swish the clothes myself. I have the side load at our other home and it works much better by going around. Not happy. Would never buy again

They were saying it did not ring out the water water did not cover the clothes and other complaints. We found none of those issues. It functions as expected.

Excellent investment from a mom of too many

Ive had this machine for going on three years now. Its been pretty stellar I have a large family and this gets USED HARD. Ive had one incident wear the motor burnt up because a teenager did their laundry and didnt empty their change pocket. Pennies and dimes are this washing machines kryptonite. However it was completely under warranty and was fixed quickly. So be wary This is not to launder monies lol I made a funny. I have thoroughly cleaned it several times pretty easily as I do want to protect my investment. All around GREAT purchase.

Get out of balance easily

Washer seems to get out of balance easily no matter what the load is no matter how its loaded. Especially worse when there are towels and sheets in it. Ive tried loading it according to the recommended directions and it doesnt seem to help.

10 months owning this washer and Im still baffled even though I had an impeller type washer before this one. Ruining some of our clothing because water level so so low-then another load might have water all the way up to top. I totally understand how this works with the weight of the load determining the water level but this washer is nuts In the beginning Customer Service Rep couldnt even explain why certain cycles were acting the way they were. Then a month ago I had a LG service tech check why theres a squeaking noise when spin first starts and when it slows down from a spin. He never figured it out. He said he would write up a report and LG would get back to me. NOTHING Stopped right there Another month and a half and my Warranty will expire-Spending big bucks on this washer and Im not happy.

I called to have my washer repaired and got a very quick response. The technician told me he would order the part and would let me know in a few days. He called back and was 10 minutes from the house. He came and installed the part and explained a few things and was gone. He was very professional and answered all my questions. He was awesome.
