Stopped cooling. Repair dept extended my warranty. The repair technician was very good ordered a few cosmetic parts at no charge for me and replaced the bad compressor with a new updated one which works perfectly. LG even offered to pay for the food which went bad Could not be happier with the entire experience and had the same 5 star experience recently when my OLED TV screen went bad. LG has my future business for sure

Absolutely love the refrigerator. The layout is good the water and ice options work well and I enjoy the in door storage for milk and other often accessed items. Would be 5 stars if the compressor hadnt died at 4 1/2 years. Fortunately warranty was 5yr for parts and labor so it worked out well minus the cost of initial diagnosis and recharge.

The compressor stopped working. Luckily we had purchased the Lowes Protection Plan so we got a full credit back since there are no repair companies near us. Do not buy the LG Warranty they will lie to you give you the runaround about presidential liason department for months and not honor their warranty. Speaking from experience from a TV purchase. Always buy the stores protection plan which covers food loss. Lowes is great for honoring their plans. LG is a nightmare to work with directly. These products are nice but dont last.

We have owed this refrigerator for about 4 years. We are very pleased with the performance of our LG refrigerator. We do have a complaint with the water filter. I have replaced the filter from time to time. This last time I ordered the right filter for our model and the same as before. When I wet to install it wouldnt twist and seat. I thought it was something wrong with the suppliers filter. I reordered the correct number filter from a different vendor same difficulty. I reordered again only this time a genuine LP filter with the same difficulty. Called LG customer service only to be told there was a YouTube video with a solution I accessed the video and there was a solution. It seems there is a product defect and to install a new filter someone figured a work around. My felling LG should have notified owners of the work around or paid to fix the defect.

Terrible product warranty and customer service

Ive had this refrigerator for 4 yrs and its stopped working. It started by not making ice and then immediately went to not cooling at all. Thank goodness I bought the extended warranty HA HA WRONG The warranty and customer service is an absolute joke. The parts are on back order and all they say is sorry for the inconvenience we dont know when the new parts will come in. I actually went and read the fine print of the warranty contract and it says if it takes longer than five business days to get the parts LG will replace the unit. Thats a LIE I will never own another LG product and I hope this will help someone from buying from them and getting scammed by there lousy products.

I really do love this fridge. It has great features and so much to it that I still have not figured out of all out. The negative is first star...the warranty is horrible. The arm of my door jammed up due to a plastic piece that slid out. The freezer ice machine motor burned out. Worst part is the warranty would not cover either. Their parts are expensive let alone the labor to fix it. I still have not been able to fix the still have no ice maker in my freezer. I also have the seal that spit on one of the doors that is still not fixed to this day because they would not repair it and it happened on the first three months. Second star...the customer service is the worst. They even transferred me to a place that does not work on there fridges or in my area. The place told me they do it all the time. I woolf say despite the fact I love the actual fridge ourself I would not buy this particular appliance from them. I say that because I would buy periods from them.

I am very dissatisfied with customer service. I got cut off by the chat bot 3 times and then finally got a hold of an actual person for my refrigerator that stopped working. They told me it was under warranty and that someone would call me within 5-7 business to set up repair. I still have not heard from anyone 14 days later I finally had to call Sears Home Repair and have actually had someone come out and diagnose the repair and order the parts. Since this repair is taking so long I had no choice but to go out and buy another refrigerator so another $850 out of pocket plus the $1000 its costing me to go through Sears instead of getting it repaired through the warranty This is so disappointing and unsat

Nice layout

Overall it is a great refrigerator but the compressor died in less than a year we had extended warranty so it was covered but not something we would have expected. The fridge is spacious and most of the layout is well thought out. Im hoping mechanically this is last a while but that remains to be seen.

Poor Reliability from the Compressor

We love the look and design features are great. Freezer has lots of room water and ice in the door is awesome and the view window without opening the fridge is fun and very useful. Meets all the needs of a family of 5. With room for fresh foods leftovers and pizza boxes. The reliability is the issue. We have had our fridge 3 years and already a warranty claim on the compressor. This is a known issue for LG and we hope the new compressor design has the reliability addressed for LG but only time will tell. At this point I probably would not buy this fridge again for this reason and there are other brands consider more reliable.

Purchased 1 year ago and it has been good. Sometimes seems like not a ton of space but depends on groceries. Ice maker had recent issues but warranty is helping with repair.

If I could give it a 0 thats how I feel about this refrigerator. I will never buy an LG or refer someone to buy one. Still having problems. No Food stays cold but no code no problem according to LG.

Great Refrigerator

I very had this refrigeratir for around 3 weeks now. While it has taken some time to get adjusted to I am loving it. I struggled with taking my condiments off the door and putting drinks in their place. Now that Im used to it it is so nice that the whole door doesnt have to be opened everytime we need a drink. The freezer has plenty of space. I am actually using my ice drawer as an organizer for my vegetables for now but plan on changing that if I need more ice for a reason. Im hoping I have this refrigeratir for a long time.

I have enjoyed this refrigerator for 2 years and then the compressor quit. It was disappointing but it was replaced after about a week of waiting for someone to fix it as the closest service center for LG is 2 hours away. Its been 2 weeks since fixing it and hoping that it will last a number of years without any more major issues.

Worked great for 3 yrs compressor bad

It worked until two weeks ago when the compressor began to fail. The company has a five year warranty on those parts but I have yet to receive a call or visit by a technician. Other than the repair company i found to make a service call and I PAID for. Three appointments made by the LG customer service has gone no where but with me sitting at home twiddling my thumbs waiting on a phantom visit or call. The warranty should be honored and a better system should be in place when their product fails.

I purchased this product on June 15 2022 from Best Buy and it was delivered to my home on June 24 2022. The refrigerator fan failed on June 22 2023 just under one year after the refrigerator was delivered to my home in my possession. I contacted LG and after some back and forth I informed them that the refrigerator was not a year old in my home and a repairman was sent out to replace the fan but only after I had to unplug it for 8 hours losing my food. After the fan was replaced the refrigerator has worked just like it was new. I changed the filters which can be expensive.

We purchased our Product May 10 2022. June 2023 we started having issues. One month after the manufactures warranty expired. Fortunately we got an extended warranty. It has been no picnic dealing with the warranty company consequently it has been a frust rating 30 days.

Issues with Finish Coating

Love the refrigerators features. My only complaint is that the finish began to peel away. LG was great about arranging to have the issue fixed. Not sure I would have made the purchase if I knew that the finish could peel.

I have had the fridge just 7 months and we had to replace the freezer fan luckily we still have the warranty for the first year not sure how long it will last. My previous fridge lasted 15 years from a different brand hoping that we didnt make a mistake switching.
