I bought this dryer 7 months ago and now it is starting to have noise issue. I contacted customer service to request a service and they told me to go to the YouTube link trying to fix the issue and if it cant be fixed then I should let them know so they can send the technician to my house. I did send back to LG the message that the noise issue was still there but never heard anything from them back. I paid 1600.00 for a pair of LG Washer and Dryer but just 7 months later It is having a problem.

I bought this LG dryer Model DLG7401WE on October 26 2023 at lowes for $798.00 and I am very happy with my purchase. This dryer has a large capacity of 7.4 cu. ft. that can handle big loads of laundry. It also has a sensor dry system that automatically adjusts the drying time and temperature to prevent over-drying and save energy. One of the features I like best is the cycle selector knob that has default settings for each cycle which I can change if desired. For example I can choose the normal cycle and then adjust the dry level temperature and time according to my preference. The dryer also has a wrinkle care option that keeps the clothes tumbling after the cycle ends to prevent creasing. The dryer is easy to use quiet and efficient. I would highly recommend this dryer to anyone looking for a reliable and versatile appliance. PS: Consumer Report recommends this model

One feature youre going to love - the hamper door

I bought this dryer to match the washer of the same model when I had to replace my old washer. Its a great dryer has lots of extra features but theres one thing on it that you might think you dont care about but once you use it youll wonder why no one else has thought of this. The hamper door. The door latch works in the usual side opening manner but it also opens like a hamper which makes dropping the clothes from the washer into the dryer so much easier. I love it I chose LG based on company reputation for quality and reliability. Dries quickly using the Wrinkle Care button keeps the clothes from getting wrinkled if you cant get to the dryer right away to unload it. The drum light is really bright - lights up the entire laundry room It only stays on for a minute or so when youre unloading but if you still need it theres a button to turn it back on manually. This model has smart features which enable the user to link the dryer to a smart phone app to manage the dryer. I didnt choose to do this. Note - if youre going to want to use the smart features capture the QR code before your dryer is installed if its going into a tight space. The QR code is on the back of the machine.

I purchased this LG dryer to match the LG washer I purchased last year due to the fact of its good reviews and my satisfaction with the washer. The unit looks works well quiet and from I can see efficient. About the only setting I dont use is the energy saving setting where the machine just uses air to dry the clothes at first then heat if you dont mind your clothes being damp its fine. To my knowledge the dryer will use more electricity which costs more than gas to run the machine longer. I do use the WI-FI option on both I find it very useful PS I also have a LG refrigerator with Wi-FI also although there are not a lot of things you can do with wi-fi the settings now being used work just great. Overall I am more than happy I have chosen LG as the manufacture of my appliances.

Got this to match our LG washer great features love the WI FI quiet. Only feature I have turned off is the energy saver reason is it runs with just air no heat at first takes longer obviously using more electricity we have a gas dryer so far the gas is less expensive than gas with that off drys great you can even have Alexa announce to you when the cycle is finished.

Like most modern appliances this dryer has what seems to be an overly complex control panel. Is it really necessary to have a wi-fi enabled clothes dryer? Apart from that the dryer is very quiet and does a good job drying clothes. I really like the dual action door that can swing fully to the side for easy unloading or partially open vertically for easy loading from the washer. Nice.

I bought my dryer two months ago and it would go off during drying. Called Geek Squad and fix was to turn off energy saver really? Dryer started to work better BUT PANEL LIGHT AND INSIDE LIGHT HAS GONE ON RANDOMLY SINCE I BOUGHT IT. I have at least 20 pics of different days and times. GEEK said to call LG since they have a one year mfg warranty and after several calls to them they continue to refuse to send an LG man to see the problem. Today GEEk is now coming to replace sensor and see if that works. Saving grace is that dryer works well. TERRIBLE LG CUSTOMER SERVICE. Im told this is made by Sears too bad they didnt take the Sears customer service training course. LG anybody listening?

I bought the washer and dryer. I connected the washer to Wi-Fi without a problem. I couldnt the dryer. I called and they asked why I didnt go back to the seller. I told them that we needed to hike up to propane. We hired a guy to do it because we didnt want to mess with it. He said that we would trouble shoot. He stated to go through the connection procedure and asked me about our Wi-Fi. I said I connected the washer. He then proceeded to say he couldnt help and they would charge me to send someone out. We just bought it two weeks ago. What a racket

Overall I really like this dryer Pros: the size is great It can fit a large load without any problems. Drys well especially if you use very dry or higher. Cons: The time dry button is a little touchy and you have to press the button a few times for it to react. A repair man came out and it got slightly better not perfect. I wish it would save my preferences from the last time I used a setting. For example every time I select normal I need to change the level of dryness from normal to very dry. Also area for the dryer vent is bulky. We did switch out the hose for a different type to take up less space.
