We bought all Maytag appliances when we bought our home 2 years ago. Microwave has been the only issue but I'm afraid to purchase the same one, I read another review that has the same issue as mine. It's a shame because I hate to mix appliance brands since they currently match and look great but I will have to look for a different brand microwave.
It worked well about a year and a half.

My Maytag microwave came with the house. It's only one year old. My problem is that the exhaust fan works but it does not draw air...the cfm must be really low, like 20 cfm only. When we cook, you can see the exhaust not doing a good job. We called service to look at it but they said that it's the best this appliance can do. Better to remove the unit and get a hood with at least 250 cfm to draw the air out. Don't recommend this product.

Bought it to replace the previous one. i didn't know what brand it was. I haven't been impressed with maytag. My last 2 microwaves were maytag and only lasted about 3 years each. My first microwave lasted 3years.

Microwave functions work well, nice finish, and easy to use controls. The only downside is that the suction on the fan is weak, seems to bypass bottom filter and come up the face of the unit. For a lower priced unit works well.

I bought this microwave a month ago and within a week 'AIR BUBBLES' began to appear under the 'Cellophane that is over selection buttons' .The microwave looks terrible due to the 'AIR Bubbles'.There is nothing stated in the papers that came with the microwave to correct this problem.Is the CELLOPHANE over the buttons meant to be removed?

When my old microwave quit I was quite upset. I was stressed about having to purchase a new one because of price and features that were important to me. However I was quite surprised by the microwave I purchased. I got the features I wanted at a good price, was able to pick it up the same day as purchased and am thrilled with it. Thanks!!!

Purchased one two years ago and it stop heating up, everything else was working like the lite, fans, touch pad just no heat. It worked really well when it worked for the two years so I purchased the exact same model and its working great....will see for how long this time.

This product came with the purchase/building of our new house. We have been very pleased with the product. We love that there is a handle to pull to open, rather than a button to push, as we have found on other models with the push button feature they can eventually get stuck and becomes difficult to open (the pull handle prevents this). There is plenty of room inside of the microwave, and everything has cooked as expected. There are a decent amount of preset options. The fan as part of the range hood works well, and there is just enough light from the range hood.
