Hasn't functioned correctly from the start

We have experienced issues with the electronic keypad not being responsive or turning on/off erratically since initially installing the double oven. Unfortunately, the repair person has come out four times and replaced all of the electronics, however the issues continue. We've had a Frigidaire refrigerator several years without issue, so bought this to pair with it. Have not had success with escalating the issues thus far when contacting Frigidaire and have already spent many hours on calls and with repair people. Would not recommend purchasing this product.

Inside glass on both oven doors had gaps large enough to put a finger between glass and oven door frame (this is what is supposed to keep the heat inside!) The installer adjusted the glass to fix the gap. After the first use, the top oven door developed a 4 3/4" "X" shaped crack/break in the outside glass. Yes, I measured because I want to see if the crack is growing - stress fracture? I am counting on the 1 year warranty to get this right.

A hard act to follow

This unit was a replacement for a 27™€ Amanda gas oven that had died after 16 years.. the oven left a 4™€ gap at the bottom since it was shorter than the old one. I have been trying to get the 3™€ bottom trim panel to fill the gap but no one answers the phone. I called the number for parts and was told that they are a parts distributor and don™€™t carry that part. I was told to contact Frigidaire and you guessed it no answer. The installation cost additional money because of the size difference so I tried to take advantage of the ™€œFit Promise™€ to get reimbursed for some of the costs. That was filed a month ago and I have heard nothing from them.As far as the performance goes it is just OK. The convection fans make excessive noise. The unit takes long to heat up and when the quick preheat option is used it overshoots the set temperature and by the time it stabilizes more time had elapsed than if it had heated up normally. The functions are not well thought out as well. The delay start is not accompanied by a cook time or stop time. So if the delayed start is used some one must physically be there to turn the oven off otherwise the oven will stay on for 12 hours. The oven tends to dry out food. Meat must be kept further from the elements to avoid burning but then it is more difficult to achieve a caramelized top with a medium rare center. Gas was so much better. The overall function is acceptable. My low score is mostly due to the poor service and support Frigidaire provides. The instructions for this review ask to direct service questions to customer service but to date that has been impossible.

Error codes and constant beeping

I was so pleased with the oven for the first 2 months. Then it started to flash an error code on the screen, beep constantly, and stop whatever oven function you were doing. At first it happened once or twice randomly. Now it™€™s happening constantly, waking me in the middle of the night with the ceaseless beeping. And of course the craziness all got started over a holiday weekend, when I had a houseful of company to feed, and my service department is closed. Terribly frustrated.

I am very happy with this double oven with convection bake and convection roast and meat probe features. I bought a 3 pound prime rib for $60 that i never would have bought to roast in my old oven because it would have turned into leather! I simply put the prime rib in a foil pan with the meat probe which attaches to the inside of oven, selected convection roast and set the meat probe to 145 degrees for medium and walked away...never even opened the oven or checked on it. When the meat probe beeped at 145 degrees i took out the prime rib and let it sit for 10 minutes. There weren™€™t any drippings in the bottom of the pan which did concern me until we sliced it and the juices came flooding out. The meat was so juicy and perfectly medium and literally melted in our mouths when we ate it! It was delicious 100 times better than ordering prime rib in a restaurant in fact i will never order prime rib in a restaurant ever again! Since then i have convection roasted chicken, pot roast and pork and everything has tasted better with convection roasting so much juicier. Another benefit is that the juice stays in the meat so the oven doesn™€™t get greasy! I used the steam cleaning option today and steamed the oven and wiped it down with a dry cloth very quick and easy! I love this double oven and quite frankly i hate to cook!

This oven preheats very quickly (my old oven took about 25 minutes to preheat) which is a great feature. Looks beautiful and cooks great. My only complaint would be the buttons are not always responsive. Setting the timer takes several tries. It seems like the buttons my be set a little off.

What a great oven. Replaced an aging GE double wall oven with this unit. The oven was a perfect fit and was easy to install (two man effort). Love the convection features and the temp probe for cooking. Have so far cooked a tri-tip roast using the probe and it was superb. Broiled fish and steak and also used the convection baking and roasting features with great success. Just praying that the oven holds up in the long run. If it goes as long as the old GE, I will be a happy man.

What's not to like?

There really isn't anything not to like about this great oven.I'm recently retired, and among my pastimes is sourdough bread. Getting a new oven was a priority.I did a good bit of shopping and comparing online before settling on this double electric wall oven from Frigidaire. I've not been disappointed.I did have to do a little modification of the opening where my old oven once was, as it was about an inch too small. Once that was done, the rest of the installation and setup was easy.I now have tons of room to keep multiple bakes going at once. The temp control appears to be right on, consistent and steady.I've yet to use some of the features that attracted me, like the built-in temperature probe for roasting meat.My biggest regret is that I waited so long to add this to our kitchen.

Everything that I wanted and more in this oven

I love this oven. We read a lot of reviews and learned about a lot of options while searching for an oven that we wanted. We made sure that this one had the options that were a must to us and were shocked to see how many more, in addition, that this oven has.

Quick warm-up

Old unit failed. It was so old parts are not available (It was not Frigidaire). Went shopping at major home improvement stores and decided on the Frigidaire because (1) features, (2) price, (3) fitment. Really love the fast warm-up feature. Quickest I've experienced.

Perfect oven!

I bought this double wall oven last December and finally installed last month and I love it very much! It really amazes me how my food cooked even and the timer works great I dont have to stand and checking all the time while im baking/cooking! This is the best oven so far!

We just love our oven.

It not only looks good but cooks good! We have looked at many double wall ovens and bought this one about a month ago. It has far exceeded our expectations. It's easy to use and the temperature is very consistent. I also just love the one gliding rack inside the oven. We had replaced some of our aging appliances and were looking for something that would compliment the overall look in our kitchen. The black stainless steel worked out beautifully.

Searched and researched, and this was the only double oven that had everything I wanted. Double convection ovens and both self-cleaning. The probe that checks temperature of the meat was just a plus. Also, love the fact ...No fingerprints.
