Appliance Factory Outlet Celebrates a 100% Sales Increase on Black Friday
Denver, CO - November 30, 2009
Surpassing expectations, Colorado's Appliance Factory Outlet announced today that it more than doubled last year's black Friday sales. Making this even more impressive, Appliance Factory Outlet set their new record sales high in a time period where the Appliance Industry is reporting 10 to 15% sales decrease nationally.
"Colorado loves to buy local," said a company spokesman. "Our company is a locally owned and operated business right here in Colorado. Our major vendors made sure we had the lowest prices in town and just as important, they made sure we were in-stock for the Holiday"
Shoppers began lining up at all 10 Colorado locations as early as 5 am Friday morning. The big draw this year was a Frigidaire Front Load Laundry Pair priced as low as $599 for the pair. Company Sales Director Kevin Drako said "Once we opened the door at 7 am the business never really slowed down. This was our most successful event ever." Locally owned and operated since 1986, Appliance Factory Outlet sells direct to the public. Chuck Ewing, owner and CEO has carved his niche in a market typically held by big box retailers. From its humble beginnings in a garage, Appliance Factory Outlet has grown into Colorado's largest and the nation's 43rd largest independent appliance dealer. Appliance Factory Outlet operates 10 stores throughout Colorado.
